The Service calculates results based entirely on the information you enter or import. We do not connect to your bank accounts and cannot verify whether your entries are accurate, complete, or up to date. Incorrect, missing, or duplicated entries will produce incorrect balances, budgets, reports, and insights. You are solely responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of your own records.
4. Zakat Calculator
The Zakat calculator is provided as a convenience for rough estimation only. It applies commonly used nisab thresholds and the standard 2.5% rate to the values you enter. Zakat rulings differ across schools of thought (madhahib) and depend on your individual circumstances, the nature of your assets and liabilities, and current gold and silver prices. The Service is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified Islamic scholar or mufti. Please verify your Zakat obligation with a competent religious authority before paying.
5. Loan, Interest and Committee (BC) Calculators
Loan, instalment, interest, and committee (ROSCA / BC) calculators produce approximate figures using simplified formulas. They do not account for bank processing fees, late payment penalties, insurance, taxes, changing markup rates, or the specific terms of your actual agreement. Actual amounts payable will be determined by your lender or committee organiser. Always refer to your signed contract or official schedule. The inclusion of an interest calculator is a neutral utility and is not an endorsement of any particular financial product.
6. Currency Conversion Rates
Exchange rates shown in the Service are obtained from third-party data providers, may be delayed, and are indicative only. They are not the rates at which any bank, exchange company, or money transfer service will transact with you. Do not use these rates for settlement, invoicing, or accounting purposes.
7. Receipt Scanning (OCR)
The receipt scanning feature uses automated text recognition to extract amounts, dates, and merchant names from uploaded images. Recognition accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, print clarity, and receipt format, and errors are common. Always review and correct scanned values before saving them. We are not responsible for financial records that are inaccurate due to unverified OCR output.
8. Not a Bank or Financial Institution
AI Finance Tracker is a software product. We are not a bank, non-banking finance company, payment service provider, brokerage, insurer, or investment platform, and we are not licensed or regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), or any equivalent authority in any jurisdiction.
